There were two used machine for 5-lb Can Filling
& Sealing which were made in
Spain during 1960's. The main parts were
seriously worn and
degraded after 30 years of operation. One of them was used
on the hot-sauce production line with 20% downtime, and
the other one could never be used for production.
Difficulties encountered in reverse-engineering the machine were: |
| 1. The machine was outdated, and the manufacturer
no longer stored or manufactured any parts for it.
The manufacturer also would not
provide any technical document (such as blueprints).

Measurement System, it was hard to find a qualified
local vendor to make parts. |
