A new rotary bottle capping machine had
12 chuck head controlled by pneumatic system. The pneumatic
solenoid valves were controlled by the approach switch, and
the switch were triggered by the cam on a rotary plate.

The machine was never in properly
functioning condition since it was installed in
the production floor. The caps were broken, dropped, or oblique
on the bottles.
Through carefully inspection , it was found that
the trigger time of the solenoid was inccrect. There was a
lag angle between the actual and ideal trigger position.
After modifying the rotary plate and
relocated the cam, machine run smoothly.
